I formatted my d drive and new instlled Win XP Pro.
I then downloaded the jump installed. What other software do I need?
Doesn't jump go the the web sites and install software such as apache , mysql, java ?
Do I have to install what?
Anyway I can't run jump successfully.

Jamp issues

The last line in the log shows that Jamp tries to install apache using the following command line:

msiexec.exe /i D:\jamp.0.0.6\Jamp\pkg\apache_2.2.4-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi /passive installdir=D:\jamp.0.0.6\Jamp\tmp\Apache.2.2 serveradmin=j@localhost apachehtdocsdir=D:\jamp.0.0.6\Jamp\host\localhost\htdocs

Could you please try to run it manually (using Start/Run, for example) and check whether it displays some errors?
Is your system architecture x86 or x64?
Do you have SP2 with your XP?

>What other software do I need?
You do not need any other software.

>Do I have to install what?
Ideally, you do not need install anything, Jamp should install everything for you.
>Doesn't jump go the the web sites and install software such as apache, mysql, java ?
Yes.

BTW, if Jamp fails, it is enough to uninstall Apache using "Add/Remove programs" applet of the control panel and delete Jamp\app and Jamp\conf folder. Then you can run it again.

Thanks,
Alex

Having Jamp! done

Hello,

First, you should have all installed software in Jamp folder on your disk. Check out the app folder, conf folder, etc.
Second, Jamp does not installs Java by default. Run jamp.hta and select the JDK you want to install.
Third, Jamp works only on Windows.

Sincerely,
Alex
